Fluid and Condition Monitoring Services has won their largest single contract yet from the Military of Defence (MoD) to process samples from their Royal Navy Fleet.
Fluid and Condition Monitoring Services will test oil, fuel and coolant samples on a daily basis from over 100 vessels in the Royal Navy Fleet. This now means that the MoD and Royal Navy can take advantage of the laboratory’s “Equipment Commander” reporting system and receive critical fleet information much faster than previously.
The MoD described the tender submission as being "very impressive, both commercially and technically" and upon the award of the contract Fluid and Condition Monitoring Manger, Ian Pendle commented: "This highlights our commitment to expanding the fluid analysis business into sectors such as Defence and Rail, and gives the strongest indication yet to the market place that we are leading our field and fully committed to providing a fast, cost effective and high quality service across the whole of the market."
